I've been having a love affair with clay for more than 30 years. It all started when, seeing how much the nurseries wanted for clay plant pots, I decided to make my own. Most of my learning was done while working at the wheel every day for many years, while doing craft shows on the weekends. I also learned much while taking workshops with as many world-renowned potters as I could.

I was offered a teaching position twenty-five years ago and have been teaching ever since. This has given me the opportunity to explore many aspects of clay and is always a source for continuous growth.

I will be using this site to announce events and workshops in the future. I am now doing workshops in schools and libraries. I have a portable wheel which allows me to demonstrate in any facility.

It was fun but a little too cold.

  • We are planning a workshop on April 22 with John Brickels. Something a little different.
